Gaming Facilities
As of May 31, 2006, all enclosed public places and workplaces will be 100% smoke free. This provincial legislation includes a ban on smoking in all enclosed places of entertainment, which are places accessible to the public primarily for the purpose of eating, drinking, or any form of amusement. These places include bingo halls, bowling alleys, billiard establishments, restaurants, bars, private clubs, sports arenas, and casinos. There will be no exemption for the casinos or bingos within our community or any others in Ontario.
